[Congenital dilatation of the common bile duct in which choledochal duct flows into Wirsung (author's transl)].

In a two year old girl, the authors observed a case of common bile duct dilatation, with jaundice and chronic pancreatitis, in which the common bile duct enters the Wirsung. An Y choledochojejunostomy was performed. The patient was easy recovered. As comment, the authors present a synthesis of knowledges of this malformation, very well studied in Japan, where it is less uncommon. We must try to find it by retrograd catheterism with duodenoscopic or surgical exploration. The systematic research of this low choledochal malformation must demonstrate if most part of congenital choledochal dilations were so explain as in japaneses publications or it is an autonomous illness and an etiology, among others, of congenital common bile duct dilatations.

[Epigastric congenital diverticulum of the right ventricle. Resection during the neonatal period (author's transl)].

The authors relate a neo-natal case of cardiac diverticulum of the right ventricle, reaching the epigastric area and associated with several connected malformations : partial pericardial agenesis, anterior diaphagmatic breach, diastasis of Musc. recti abdominis, skin aplasia in the epigastric area, and, moreover, dextrocardia with Fallot tetralogy. The diverticulum was successful resected in emergency.

[Bilateral congenital eventration of the diaphragm with lobar giant emphysema (author's transl)].

The authors relate the difficulties in management of bilateral congenital diaphragmatic eventration in a new-born. After the surgical correction of the left diaphragmatic eventration, an opacity at the base of the right hemithorax was studied by concomittant pulmonary and hepatic scintigraphy and by pneumoperitoneum. The right diaphragmatic eventration was secondarily treated. The baby was later reoperated twice : on the left side at the age of 7 months for a partial relaps of the left eventration, then at the age of 9 months for a malformative giant lobar emphysema of the right middle lobe, requiring lobectomy.

Osteoid osteoma of the acetabulum: two cases.

We report two cases of osteoid osteoma of the acetabulum associated with severe chronic synovitis. The diagnosis is difficult and usually delayed because the acetabulum is a rare site for this tumor and clinical signs are nonspecific. Computed tomography (CT) scanning is the best diagnostic technique. An intraarticular surgical approach allows complete resection, but one case required spongy bone grafts. Postoperative results are excellent.
