Preparing for surveyors.
Abstract
The arrival of surveyors at a nursing home is an especially stressful time for the administrator, director of nursing and nursing staff. Compounding this stress is the Oct. 1 implementation of the new Medicare/Medicaid nursing home requirements, which pose a number of new challenges to providers.
