[Changes in the retinal structural elements in the early and late periods after neutron exposure].

Local fractionated exposure of a rabbit eye to fast neutrons of 3 Gy (1.5 x 2) and 7.5 Gy (1.5 x 5) induces early reactions of all structural elements of retina, among which dose-dependent degradation of photoreceptor membrane discs and damages to pigmentoepitheliocytes are of prime importance. Further pathomorphogenesis is connected with the surpassing degeneration of a radial glia with respect to destruction of interneuronal synapses and a minor part of neurons. The postirradiation (one and six months after 7.5 Gy irradiation) changes in the blood-retinal barrier are responsible for the disturbances in the glioneuronal complex.

[A morphofunctional validation of the use of electrostimulation by paired impulses combined with vibromassage for the treatment of patients with trauma to the peripheral nerves of the extremities].

The exposure to paired electric impulses and vibromassage promotes completeness of repair in the treatment of injured peripheral nerves of the limb. The effect is achieved due to marked stimulation of myelinization and differentiation of the nerve fibers, regeneration of the nerve system in the denervated muscle.

[The effect of the brine and mud extract from Lake Karachi on the morphofunctional status of the adnexa uteri in experimental inflammation].

Two-stage electrophoresis of preparations made of natural brine and extract of mud taken from the Lake Karachi tried in combined treatment of experimental inflammation of the uterine appendages prevents proliferative and sclerotic alterations in ovarian stroma, stimulates repair of the intramural nerves, corrects follicular atresia.

[The morphofunctional validation of the use of vibration-traction for the correction of contractures of the joints].

Experiments in modelling joint contracture have shown that vibrotracture with step-by-step frequency rise in one procedure and discrete rise in traction power in the course of procedures may correct joint contracture. Basing on these experimental findings, the authors have developed highly effective method of vibrotraction treatment of joint contractures (patent N 1804819).
