A severe form of metatropic dwarfism.

The clinical and radiological manifestations of a lethal case of metatropic dwarfism are presented. Two radiological signs present in our case are regarded as particularly useful in making the diagnosis. Moreover other findings, unusual in this condition, are described.

The arteriographic manifestations of Takayasu's arteritis in children.

Eighteen cases of Takayasu's arteritis in children under 14 years of age are described, emphasising the arteriographic features and noting differences with other series. Renal artery stenosis resulting in renal hypertension was the most significant finding but widespread involvement of the aorta and its main branches with predominantly stenotic lesions was also found. Total aortography is mandatory in these cases as without it the correct diagnosis cannot be made.

The radiology of gastrointestinal Burkitt's lymphoma in children.

Four cases of Burkitt's lymphoma limited to the abdominal region are described. The sites of involvement included the duodenum, caecum, ascending colon, jejunum and ovaries. One case presented with an intussusception. The distribution of lesions in this series differs from the African cases described by Burkitt and from the small series reported from North America.
