[Hemorrhages after stomatological-surgical interventions. Experiences with patients of the stomatological emergency service at the university stomatological clinic in Halle].

The author reports of experiences with 627 patients presenting with haermorrhage at the night emergency service of a university clinic of stomatology. Postoperative bleedings occurred mainly in the molar region. In 6 patients, an underlying disease until then unknown was recognized as a cause; a further 3 patients were under anticoagulant therapy which had not received the attention it deserved. Local surgical and medicamentous therapy is of special importance in the treatment of postoperative bleeding.

[Stomatological morbidity study--Berlin 1972. 3. The frequency of dysgnathias and their symptoms in the subjects of an epidemiologic-stomatological study].

Stomatological morbidity study - Berlin 1972. Part III. The frequency of dysgnathias and their symptoms in subjects of an epidemiologic-stomatological study. In the course of a stomatological morbidity study which was performed in Berlin in 1972, the authors investigated the dental conditions of 657 subjects, having an age range from 18 to 30 years. Only 15.2% of the persons under investigation had an eugnathic dentition. Almost 85% of the individuals showed dysgnathias. Apart from the frequency of certain tooth malalignments and malocclusions, associated symptoms were recorded. 15.5 of the subjects under investigation said that they had had orthodontic treatment. Significant differences were found in comparing the results obtained from treated individuals with those from untreated subjects.

[Standardization of work force and techniques provided in stomatology institutions and determination of quality criteria on providing stomatology service in Ukrainian army].

The article presents the definition of the standardization of work force and techniques provided in stomatology institutions and determination of quality criteria on providing stomatology service to military personnel, army staff and definite rank of personnel at different level of health care institutions to optimally organize stomatology service in Ukrainian army.

[The need for stomatological care in the light of an analysis of the frequency of stomatologic diseases].

The present paper deals with a method for determining the extent of stomatological care for the population of the GDR. The components "stomatological morbidity", "available amount of time" and "average amount of working time spent on each prosthetic/conservative service" are linked to determine the extent of stomatological care with regard to the three variants of prosthetic/conservative treatment. The calculation method is used to find out the optimal variant.

[Stomatological component in the integrated program of prevention of non-infectious chronic diseases in the Latvian S.S.R. 3. Elaboration of the primary prevention program for essential stomatological diseases].

The stomatological component draft of the integrated programme regarding the prophylaxis of non-infectious chronic diseases in the Latvian SSR is shown. Authors describe the aims and tasks, the criteria regarding the attainment of objects, the strategy, the levels of action, the basic methods, the contingent, the stomatological component, the stages of introduction of the established measures and the plans of scientific research to be carried out in the framework of the proposed draft.
