Hybridoma clones were isolated after the fusion of mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells from a rat immunized with mouse bone marrow. One of them produced a monoclonal antibody reacting with a murine cell surface differentiation antigen that we have termed MBM-1 (Mouse Bone Marrow-1). This antigen is present on eosinophils, on neutrophils, and on subpopulations of lymphocytes and macrophages, but appears to be absent from erythroid cells. Precursor cell analysis, after sorting of bone marrow cells using a fluorescence-activated cell sorter, suggests that the antigen is absent from most progenitors with the exception of certain cells in the macrophage lineage.

Aggression in the sense of a grasping interest belongs to man so intimately that he wouldn't have reached these performances, these accomplishments and this power he has reached today on the vivid and unvivid nature. If the individual would not interest himself "aggressively" for the human beings surrounding himself, if he would not be "hungry" for human contact he would not associate himself for pairing and groups. He would not look for individuals who are of the same mind. This existential hunger, which is laid down in his nervous system seeking for stimuli, contains always an "aggressive" interest and leads man also towards searching scientifically his own psychosomatic conditions and the whole world. But this hunger can lead in certain men and under favouring conditions in whole groups and peoples to dimensions which endanger individuality and the human pride. This aggression then does not any longer serve communication but further incorporation and power. It is the beginning of the way leading to destruction of human values and human life. The responsibilities of our society should keep in mind that the human readiness for aggression does not drive further in the direction of violence and should rather be developed in the sense originally inherent to her: of an interest in the surrounding human beings and in nature.

The Cattle's IPAT anxiety scale test has been used in a population of prisoners during a three years period. The specific features of these subjects suggest great caution in the interpretation of this tests, that was originally validated on different populations. For psychodiagnostic and therapeutic purposes each score should be specifically checked. Other observations are made and some suggestions are also given.
The practice of voluntary physician-assisted death as a last resort is compatible with doctors' duties to practice competently, to avoid harming patients unduly, to refrain from medical fraud, and to preserve patients' trust. It therefore does not violate physicians' professional integrity.

Two complementary models of brain organization are nowadays offered: one anatomical and functional, the other computational. The first model implies a subdivision of brain functions in order to find the corresponding brain areas. It is easy to show that this cutting up can only be artificial and is influenced by some kind of "folk psychology", thereby raising suspicion on the "top down" method. On the other hand, it seems impossible to do without any psychological and even any subjective reference and work only according to the bottom up way. It must therefore be concluded that our subdivisions of brain functions must always be regarded as provisional as long as the two methods do not exactly overlap. The computational model uses either the conventional method or the parallel distributed processing. It can be shown that the conventional language utilized impoverishes the normal language and even more thought and is therefore unable to yield more than restricted results. It is suggested that the main advantage of parallel distributed processing is precisely to erase the formalization of language and it is then possible to expect from it much more interesting models. Although it seems possible to improve continuously our understanding of the functional conditions required for consciousness to appear, there seems to be theoretical limits to a complete scientific explanation of self awareness.
