[Coincidence of uveitis, dental pulpitis and gingivitis].

The coincidence of uveitis, dental pulpitis and gingivitis is reported. The patients were 2 women, 21 and 50 years old, respectively, and a man aged 36. All were cured by systemic antibiotic treatment. As uveitis is often found in otherwise healthy patients with no apparent focus of infection, it has been suggested that such a focus might be of dental origin. In a tooth abscess the seat of infection in the bone tissue is subject to pressure and irritation from chewing. This can cause bacteria from infected root canals to be pumped into the blood stream and lymphatics. The causes we describe demonstrate the importance of systemic, wide-spectrum antibiotic treatment in such cases.

[Use of calcium hydroxide in the treatment of pulpitis by extirpation under analgesia].

The study included 48 cases of pulpitis grade II of one-root teeth in 42 patients of either sex aged 21-35 years treated by pulp extirpation under analgesia with immediate filling of canals. In 28 teeth Biopulp was used as an intercalated substance between the periapical tissues and the material filling the canal. The control group comprised 20 teeth filled only with Endomethasone paste. The observations made immediately after filling and clinical-radiological control examination after from 6 months to 3 years showed a high usefulness of calcium hydroxide. Good results were achieved in 100% of cases while in the control group in 70% of cases.

[Morphofunctional parallels in the development of pulpitis].

In 16 mongrel dogs rheodontography was applied to study the functional state of inflamed dental pulp blood vessels. At the same time, pathological investigation of the pulp tissues was performed within 1 h to 40 days after the pulpitis modelling. Direct correlation of purulent-infiltrative pulp changes in acute and chronic inflammation with rheodentographic features was shown. The rheodentographic technique was shown effective for intravital diagnosis of the acute and chronic dental pulp inflammation.

[A comparative analysis of the use of Uzor and Optodan laser apparatus for the prevention and combined treatment of pulpitis and periodontitis].

Clinical research 242 patients for comparison purposes of efficiently of employment of semiconductor laser apparatus "Uzor" and "Optodan" as physiotherapeutic of the factor for preventive maintenance and treatment of complications, arising the ambassador endodontic of treatment is spent. Results of application of semi-conductor laser apparatus are resulted at the various forms pulpitis and periodontitis. Significant reduction of a pain directly after a procedure LSL is marked. The highest efficiency is established by use of the apparatus "Optodan", connected with distinction configurations of a impulse.
