The genome sequence of a caddisfly, Limnephilus auricula (Curtis, 1834).

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Limnephilus auricula (a caddisfly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Trichoptera; Limnephilidae). The genome sequence is 971.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 18.29 kilobases in length.

Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 20 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The assembled mitochondrial and plastid genomes have lengths of 538.43 kilobases and 157.52 kilobases in length, respectively.

The genome sequence of Greek sea-spurrey, Spergularia bocconei (Scheele) Graebn. (Caryophyllaceae).

We present a genome assembly from a specimen of Spergularia bocconei (Greek sea-spurrey; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Caryophyllales; Caryophyllaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 466.20 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules suggesting the individual is an allotetraploid (2 n = 4 x = 36). The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 327.07 kilobases and 152.41 kilobases, respectively.

The genome sequence of the Alder Moth, Acronicta alni (Linnaeus, 1767).

We present a genome assembly from a male Acronicta alni (Alder Moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 470.37 megabases and 472.86 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.95%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.38 kilobases in length.

The genome sequence of a flea beetle, Altica lythri Aubé, 1843.

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of Altica lythri (flea beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Chrysomelidae). This was a triploid specimen and one subgenome was assembled. The genome sequence has a total length of 1,003.51 megabases. Most of the assembly (82.29%) is scaffolded into 12 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 18.39 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 18,969 protein-coding genes.

The genome sequence of the comb-clawed beetle, Prionychus ater (Fabricius, 1775) (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae).

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Prionychus ater (comb-clawed beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Tenebrionidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 385.22 megabases and 347.54 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (97.6%) is scaffolded into 14 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.26 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.

The genome sequence of the Orange Beauty, Commophila aeneana (Hübner, 1799-1800) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae).

We present a genome assembly from a female Commophila aeneana (Orange Beauty; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 429.47 megabases and 322.66 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.82%) is scaffolded into 25 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes., and most of haplotype 2 (99.71%) is scaffolded into 23 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.5 kilobases.
