Abstract

This article reviews the literature on scleroderma and pregnancy, highlighting its sparsity, confused state, and retrospective nature. It emphasizes the need for more informed prospective work. This is required for clinical management and to help understand the complex interaction between scleroderma and pregnancy. This relationship is poorly defined and research is needed to investigate hormonal status, femaleness, and the disease.
