A tribute to Senator Sam Brownback.

This brief biography can provide only a few glimpses into the character and achievements of Senator Sam Brown-back. He had some very big shoes to fill, taking over the seat of the venerated Senator Dole. He has done amazingly well representing his native state of Kansas and the nation with unusual passion and integrity. His pursuit of excellence in every respect and his deep caring for the well being of all Americans are at the root of his success. As the years go by, the Senator will, through the acquisition of seniority, gather even more respect, power, and authority. This is good news for Kansas and the nation. It means that he will have all the more opportunity to do good and to help others. Senator Brownback is deserving of the great respect and admiration of good men and women everywhere on the planet.

A tribute to Dorothy Height. Crusader for human rights.

Dorothy Height, is a legendary figure in the American civil rights movement and in the broader worldwide human rights movement. As President of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), she worked tirelessly toward the enactment of civil rights and for equal rights in education, housing, and employment.
