A mechanized system for the production processes planning involving the use of an electronic code device for data preparation on a punched tape of the "EPECT-IT" type, at the base of which there are classifiers of standard operations and transitions to individual design members, is considered. A fragment of the classifier and a skeleton diagram of the system are presented. It is pointed out that the use of the system helps improve the quality of the design work, as well as to yield considerable economic advantages. The system is in operation at some enterprises of the medical engineering industry.
An algorhythm for drawing up optimal production schedule graphs covering a shop floor (production area) over a planned period of output, based on the criterion of minimizing the total time for the workpiece treatment that may be applicable in the APCS of biomedical engineering industry, is set forth. In this connection the notions of a critical workpiece, critical equipment and of a conflicting situation are introduced, and the LRT rule, that plays a dominant role in combination with those of the SIO and MIN idle time, is applied. A relation intended to settle the conflicting situation in compiling the optimal schedule graphs is adduced and its solution for computerized programming is given.
Issues concerned with improvement of the operational-engineering pattern and organization of production processes in manufacturing individual articles through an effective combination of product-parts, product-subassemblies and technological forms of specializing the plant subdivisions are considered. As an optimization criterion the minimum of incurred expenditures and also a system of point ratings are taken. The optimum is shown to be an operational-engineering pattern with predominance of a product-wise specialization of the plant departments. Problems that have to be solved in constructing a suitable model for the operational-engineering pattern within the framework of automated systems designed to monitor technological pre-arrangement for producing an adequate model of the object in dynamics are discussed.
