Comments on methodology section.
The articles in this section deal with two issues: the use of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) in clinical drug trials, and white-coat hypertension. Two of the theoretical advantages of ABPM over conventional clinic measurements are the elimination of the white-coat effect and the greater reliability of the ambulatory measurements, which is a consequence of their greater number.
