[Outcomes of strangulated hernia].
The article is concerned with the results of treatment in 9795 patients with strangulated hernia in the Leningrad City within a 14-year-period. The causes of 527 cases of mortality are studied in detail, and recommendations on improvement of the results of treatment in this category of patients are given.
