Induction of chemokine secretion and enhancement of contact-dependent macrophage cytotoxicity by engineered expression of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor in human colon cancer cells.

We investigated the role of tumor cell-derived GM-CSF in recruitment and tumoricidal activation of tissue macrophages. Transfection of the murine GM-CSF gene into KM12SM human colon cancer cells decreased the tumorigenicity of transfected cells and nontransfected bystander colon cancer cells in nude mice. Sequential tissue sections from sites injected with high GM-CSF-producing tumor cells (but not from nontransfected or low GM-CSF-producing cells) demonstrated a dense infiltration of polymorphonuclear cells (PMN), followed by infiltration of macrophages, which correlated with expression of the macrophage-inflammatory protein-1alpha and the monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) in mouse PMN and macrophages. GM-CSF-producing KM12SM cells were highly sensitive to lysis by mouse macrophages and also increased macrophage-mediated lysis of bystander nontransfected KM12SM cells. The incubation of macrophages with GM-CSF induced expression of the CD11b surface adhesion molecule, which was associated with increased attachment to tumor cells. All KM12SM cells were sensitive to macrophage-mediated lysis in the presence of rGM-CSF and recombinant MCP-1. Collectively, the results demonstrate that tumor cell-derived GM-CSF stimulates PMN and macrophages to secrete macrophage-inflammatory protein-1alpha and MCP-1, which triggers recruitment of mononuclear cells, induces expression of adhesion molecules on macrophages, and enhances contact-dependent cytolysis of tumor cells.

Novel Mn(II)Mn(III)Mn(II) trinuclear complexes with carbohydrate bridges derived from seven-coordinate manganese(II) complexes with N-glycoside.

Reactions of MnX2.nH2O with tris(N-(D-mannosyl)-2-aminoethyl)amine ((D-Man)3-tren), which was formed from D-mannose and tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (tren) in situ, afforded colorless crystals of [Mn((D-Man)3-tren)]X2 (3a, X = Cl; 3b, X = Br; 3c, X = NO3; 3d, X = 1/2SO4). The similar reaction of MnSO4.5H2O with tris(N-(L-rhamnosyl)-2-aminoethyl)amine ((L-Rha)3-tren) gave [Mn((L-Rha)3-tren)]SO4 (4d), where L-rhamnose is 6-deoxy-L-mannose. The structures of 3b and 4d were determined by X-ray crystallography to have a seven-coordinate Mn(II) center ligated by the N-glycoside ligand, (aldose)3-tren, with a C3 helical structure. Three D-mannosyl residues of 3b are arranged in a delta(ob3) configuration around the metal, leading to formation of a cage-type sugar domain in which a water molecule is trapped. In 4d, three L-rhamnosyl moieties are in a delta(lel3) configuration to form a facially opened sugar domain on which a sulfate anion is capping through hydrogen bonding. These structures demonstrated that a configurational switch around the seven-coordinate manganese(II) center occurs depending on its counteranion. Reactions of 3a, 3b, and 4d with 0.5 equiv of Mn(II) salt in the presence of triethylamine yielded reddish orange crystals formulated as [[Mn((aldose)3-tren)]2Mn(H2O)X3.nH2O (5a, aldose = D-Man, X = Cl; 5b, aldose = D-Man, X = Br; 6d, aldose = L-Rha, X = 1/2SO4). The analogous trinuclear complexes 6a (aldose = L-Rha, X = Cl), 6b (aldose = L-Rha, X = Br), and 6c (aldose = L-Rha, X = NO3) were prepared by the one-pot reaction of Mn(II) salts with (L-Rha)3-tren without isolation of the intermediate Mn(II) complexes. X-ray crystallographic studies revealed that 5a, 5b, 6c, and 6d have a linearly ordered trimanganese core, Mn(II)Mn(III)Mn(II), bridged by two carbohydrate residues with Mn-Mn separations of 3.845(2)-3.919(4) A and Mn-Mn-Mn angles of 170.7(1)-173.81(7) degrees. The terminal Mn(II) atoms are seven-coordinate with a distorted mono-face-capped octahedral geometry ligated by the (aldose)3-tren ligand through three oxygen atoms of C-2 hydroxyl groups, three N-glycosidic nitrogen atoms, and a tertiary amino group. The central Mn(III) atoms are five-coordinate ligated by four oxygen atoms of carbohydrate residues in the (aldose)3-tren ligands and one water molecule, resulting in a square-pyramidal geometry. In the bridging part, a beta-aldopyranosyl unit with a chair conformation bridges the two Mn(II)Mn(III) ions with the C-2 mu-alkoxo group and with the C-1 N-glycosidic amino and the C-3 alkoxo groups coordinating to each metal center. These structures could be very useful information in relation to xylose isomerases which promote aldose-ketose isomerization by using divalent dimetal centers such as Mn2+, Mg2+, and Co2+.

Expression of neuron specific phosphatase, striatal enriched phosphatase (STEP) in reactive astrocytes after transient forebrain ischemia.

We studied the distribution and change of striatal enriched phosphatase (STEP) in the gerbil hippocampus after transient forebrain ischemia. STEP was expressed in the perikarya and in neuronal processes; it was not detected in non-neuronal cells of control animals. After 5-min forebrain ischemia, STEP immunoreactivity (STEP-IR) was preserved for 2 days; it disappeared 4 and more days after ischemia with completion of delayed neuronal death (DND) in the CA1 subfield. Furthermore, only in the CA1 after ischemia, STEP was expressed in reactive astrocytes for 4 to 28 days, showing different patterns of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP)-positive reactive astrocytes. After non-or less-than lethal ischemia, STEP expression in reactive astrocytes corresponded with the degree of neuronal degeneration. Immunoblot analysis of the CA1 subfield revealed the expression of three isoforms, STEP45, -56 and -61; their expression patterns changed with time after ischemia. These data suggest that neuronal STEP is preserved until cell degeneration after ischemia and that STEP is expressed in reactive astrocytes only after lethal ischemia, with different expression patterns for its isoforms. Of STEP45, -56 and -61, STEP61 was the most strongly expressed in the reactive astrocytes; both STEP45 and -61 were expressed in neurons and the expression of STEP56 was weak. STEP may play an important role not only in neurons but also in reactive astrocytes after ischemia, depending on neuronal degeneration.

Gelatin-containing diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTP) vaccine causes sensitization to gelatin in the recipients.

Gelatin-specific T cell response was performed to determine whether a series of vaccinations with gelatin-containing DTP is a primary sensitization process in gelatin allergy. Thirty-seven recipients with gelatin-containing DTP who developed adverse reactions after vaccination and eight recipients of DTP without gelatin who also developed adverse reactions were studied. In addition, 10 subjects receiving gelatin-containing vaccine and 10 subjects inoculated with non-gelatin vaccine who did not show any adverse reactions were also investigated. All subjects inoculated with gelatin-containing DTP vaccine showed positive T cell responses against gelatin, however, occurrence of adverse reactions did not correlate with T cell responses. We conclude that DTP vaccine containing gelatin induces sensitization to gelatin in the recipients, but the mechanism of local reactions remains unknown.

Induction of angiogenesis by hyperplastic colonic mucosa adjacent to colon cancer.

We determined whether hyperplastic mucosa adjacent to colon cancer contributes to neoplastic angiogenesis. Surgical specimens of human colon cancer (40 Dukes' stage B and 34 Dukes' stage C) were analyzed by immunohistochemistry for expression of proliferative and angiogenic molecules. The mucosa adjacent to Dukes' stage C tumors (but not Dukes' stage B tumors) had a higher Ki-67 labeling index and a higher expression of epidermal growth factor receptor and transforming growth factor-alpha than distant mucosa. The expression levels of vascular endothelial growth factor, basic fibroblast growth factor, interleukin-8, and the vascular density in the adjacent mucosa were similar to those in the tumor lesions and significantly higher than those in the distant mucosa. The expression of interferon-beta inversely correlated with the level of pro-angiogenic molecules and the vascular density. The injection of metastatic human colon cancer cells and murine colon cancer cells into the cecal wall of mice induced hyperplastic changes in the adjacent mucosa which expressed higher levels of epidermal growth factor receptor, basic fibroblast growth factor, and vascular endothelial growth factor, and lower levels of interferon-beta than did the control mucosa, which directly correlated with the degree of hyperplasia. These data suggest that metastatic human colon cancer cells can induce hyperplasia in the adjacent mucosa, which in turn produces angiogenic molecules that contribute to neoplastic angiogenesis.

Production of experimental malignant pleural effusions is dependent on invasion of the pleura and expression of vascular endothelial growth factor/vascular permeability factor by human lung cancer cells.

We determined the molecular mechanisms that regulate the pathogenesis of malignant pleural effusion (PE) associated with advanced stage of human, non-small-cell lung cancer. Intravenous injection of human PC14 and PC14PE6 (adenocarcinoma) or H226 (squamous cell carcinoma) cells into nude mice yielded numerous lung lesions. PC14 and PC14PE6 lung lesions invaded the pleura and produced PE containing a high level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-localized vascular hyperpermeability. Lung lesions produced by H226 cells were confined to the lung parenchyma with no PE. The level of expression of VEGF mRNA and protein by the cell lines directly correlated with extent of PE formation. Transfection of PC14PE6 cells with antisense VEGF165 gene did not inhibit invasion into the pleural space but reduced PE formation. H226 cells transfected with either sense VEGF 165 or sense VEGF 121 genes induced localized vascular hyperpermeability and produced PE only after direct implantation into the thoracic cavity. The production of PE was thus associated with the ability of tumor cells to invade the pleura, a property associated with expression of high levels of urokinase-type plasminogen activator and low levels of TIMP-2. Collectively, the data demonstrate that the production of malignant PE requires tumor cells to invade the pleura and express high levels of VEGF/VPF.

Synthesis and antitumor activities of novel 5-deazaflavin-sialic acid conjugate molecules.

6-Nitro-5-deazaflavin derivatives bearing O-(methyl 5-acetamido-4,7,8,9-tetra-O-acetyl-3,5-dideoxy-D-glycero-alpha- and beta-D-galacto-non-2-ulopyranosylonate)alkyl group (sialosylalkyl group) at N(3) or N(10) and 8-amino-5-deazaflavin substituted with the sialosylalkyl group at the amino group were synthesized and their physicochemical properties as well as antitumor effects on KB and L1210 cells have been investigated. The configurations of the glycosides were determined by 1H NMR and rate of hydrolysis of the glycosidic bond. It has been found that these conjugate molecules show significant antitumor activities. Combination of an 8-amino-5-deazaflavin with the sialosylalkyl group have been found to give rise to significant increase in antitumor activities of the compound. Antitumor effects of 6-nitro-5-deazaflavin-sialic acid conjugate molecules were similar or rather weak in comparison with those of the 6-nitro-5-deazaflavin derivatives without sialosylalkyl group.

Effects of light on the tritrophic interaction between kidney bean plants, two-spotted spider mites and predatory mites, Amblyseius womersleyi (Acari: Phytoseiidae).

By analyzing the volatiles from Tetranychus urticae-infested kidney bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris) at different times for two days, we found that they were mainly produced in the light. Tetranychus urticae showed a higher oviposition rate and spent more time feeding during the day (in the light) than at night (in the dark). Infested leaves placed in the light attracted the predatory mite Amblyseius womersleyi, whereas those that were placed in the dark for at least 2 h in daytime did not. This indicates that presence or absence of light affects the production of herbivore-induced plant volatiles. Amblyseius womersleyi dispersed more frequently and consumed more T. urticae eggs during the day (in the light) than at night (in the dark), whereas their oviposition rate did not differ between day and night. Presence or absence of herbivore-induced plant volatiles in the surroundings did not affect dispersal, predation or oviposition rates of A. womersleyi. These results show that A. womersleyi's behavior coincides with the production pattern of herbivore-induced plant volatiles.

Immunological circumvention of multiple organ metastases of multidrug resistant human small cell lung cancer cells by mouse-human chimeric anti-ganglioside GM2 antibody KM966.

serum against SBC-3/DOX cells to a similar extent compared with parental SBC-3 cells. Pretreatment of human effector cells with various cytokines induced further enhancement of the KM966-dependent ADCC against SBC-3/DOX cells. Intravenous injection of SBC-3 or SBC-3/DOX cells into natural killer (NK) cell-depleted severe combined immunodeficient (SCID) mice developed metastases in multiple organs (liver, kidneys and lymph nodes). Interestingly, SBC-3/DOX cells produced metastases more rapidly than SBC-3 cells, suggesting more aggressive phenotype of SBC-3/DOX cells than their parental cells in vivo. Systemic treatment with KM966, given on days 2 and 7, drastically inhibited the formation of multiple-organ metastases produced by both SBC-3 and SBC-3/DOX cells, indicating that KM966 can eradicate metastasis by SCLC cells irrespective of MDR phenotype. These findings suggest that the mouse-human chimeric KM966 targets the GM2 antigen, and might be useful for the immunological circumvention of multiple-organ metastases of refractory SCLC.

The lymphoproliferative response to enzymatically digested gelatin in subjects with gelatin hypersensitivity.

BACKGROUND: This study was designed to evaluate the immunogenic characteristics of enzymatically digested gelatin, 'FreAlagin', employing the lymphoproliferative response in subjects with gelatin hypersensitivity. Our purpose was to assess the response of primed lymphocytes to the newly developed FreAlagin and compare it to the response to conventional gelatin. METHODS: A gelatin-specific lymphocyte proliferation test (LPT) was performed in 110 children with adverse reactions to gelatin-containing vaccines, who showed positive gelatin-specific cell-mediated immunity and were thus diagnosed as having gelatin hypersensitivity. Gelatin-specific IgE was measured in all subjects. The antigenic activity of FreAlagin to lymphocytes was compared with that of conventional bovine gelatin. Positive and negative control specimens were obtained from the patients with anaphylaxis and from subjects inoculated with gelatin-free vaccine who showed no adverse reactions in order to establish the fluorometric ELISA system to determine IgE antibody to gelatin and LPT. RESULTS: The lymphocyte activity against FreAlagin was much less than that to Wako gelatin and more than half of the subjects who reacted positively to Wako gelatin had a negative LPT to FreAlagin. Although 47% of the subjects had positive LPTs to FreAlagin, all but two still had lower SIs to FreAlagin compared with Wako gelatin. CONCLUSION: We conclude that the antigenic activity of FreAlagin as measured by the cell-mediated immune response is significantly less than that of conventional bovine gelatin. However, it is still necessary to perform clinical trials to show a reduced or absent clinical reactivity to FreAlagin in sensitized patients to conventional gelatin.

Cloning and over-expression of thermostable Bacillus sp. YM55-1 aspartase and site-directed mutagenesis for probing a catalytic residue.

A thermostable aspartase gene (aspB) from Bacillus sp. YM55-1 was cloned and the gene sequenced. The aspB gene (1407 bp ORF) encodes a protein with a molecular mass of 51 627 Da, consisting of 468 amino-acid residues. An amino-acid sequence comparison revealed that Bacillus YM55-1 aspartase shared 71% homology with Bacillus subtilis aspartase and 49% with Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas fluorescens aspartases. The E. coli TK237/pUCASPB strain, which was obtained by transforming E. coli TK237 (aspartase-null strain) with a vector plasmid (pUCASPB) containing the cloned aspB gene, produced a large amount of the enzyme corresponding to > 10% of the total soluble protein. The over-expressed recombinant enzyme (native molecular mass: 200 kDa) was purified effectively and rapidly using heat treatment and affinity chromatography. In order to probe the catalytic residues of this enzyme, two conserved amino-acid residues, Lys183 and His134, were individually mutated to alanine. Although the tertiary structure of each mutant was estimated to be the same as that of wild-type aspartase in CD and fluorescence measurements, the Lys183Ala mutant lost its activity completely, whereas His134Ala retained full activity. This finding suggests that Lys183 may be involved in the catalytic activity of this thermostable Bacillus YM55-1 aspartase.

Immunohistochemical studies on vascular endothelial growth factor and platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1/CD-31 in islet transplantation.

Neovascularization may be necessary for better and longer function of transplanted islets. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is known to be one of the most important factors of angiogenesis. Recently, VEGF was reported to be expressed in islets of normal pancreas. We studied the expression of VEGF and neovascularization related peptides in transplanted islets. To determine the angiogenic microcapillary, immunochemical staining was performed for Factor VIII-related antigen (von Willebrand factor [vWF]) and platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1/CD31 (PECAM-1), both of which are known as markers of the angiogenic microvessel. Transplantable islets were isolated from Lewis rats (8-10 weeks of age) by discontinuous dextran gradient after collagenase digestion. Seven to twelve hundred islets were injected into the portal vein (IPV group, n = 7) or transplanted into subnephrocapsular cavity (SNC, n = 12) of the same descent rats. In the IPV group, the liver was resected 1 hour, 1 week, or 4 weeks after transplantation (Tx). In the SNC group, the kidney was resected 1, 3, 7, or 28 days after Tx. Each tissue was fixed in formaldehyde and embedded in paraffin. Serial 4-microm slices were immunostained for insulin, VEGF, PECAM-1, or vWF using specific antibodies. In IPV group, insulin-positive cells were VEGF positive as were in the normal pancreas at all time points. Islets of 1 hour after Tx were barely PECAM-1 positive as were in normal pancreas, but islets became weakly stained at 7 and 28 days after Tx. In vWF staining, transplanted islets showed stronger staining than those in the normal pancreas. In SNC group, VEGF was also stained in insulin-positive cells at 1, 3, 7, and 28 days. In PECAM-1 staining, islets of 1 day after Tx were barely stained as were in normal pancreas. However, the staining was increasingly enhanced from 3 to 7 days and then appeared weakened at 28 days after Tx. In vWF staining, islets were always vWF positive, as was seen in IPV group. This study revealed that PECAM-1 appeared in islets after islet Tx, suggesting that neovascularization occurs within the islet grafts. On the other hand, VEGF of transplanted islet did not obviously vary with time. Enhancement of the neovascularization may lead to better results of islet Tx.

Association of decreased calcium-sensing receptor expression with proliferation of parathyroid cells in secondary hyperparathyroidism.

BACKGROUND: The down-regulation of both calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) and vitamin D receptor (VDR) in parathyroid (PT) glands of secondary hyperparathyroidism (HPT) caused by chronic renal failure has been associated with PT hormone hypersecretion as well as PT hypergrowth. To clarify the predominance of decreased expression of CaSR and VDR in the high proliferative activity of PT glands, we examined the relationship between the expression of both receptors and proliferative activity in human PT glands. METHODS: Serial sections of 56 PT glands, including 52 glands from secondary HPT and 4 normal PT glands resected together with thyroid carcinoma, were examined immunohistochemically with specific antibodies against CaSR, VDR, and Ki67. The Ki67-positive cell number was counted and expressed as the Ki67 score. The CaSR and VDR expressions were semiquantitatively analyzed. RESULTS: The expressions of both CaSR and VDR were markedly decreased in PT glands of secondary HPT, while the Ki67 score was significantly higher than it was in normal controls. When hyperplastic glands were classified into two subgroups, with [N(+)] or without [N(-)] nodular formation, CaSR expression was significantly decreased in N(+), while VDR expression was not different. Multiple regression analyses revealed that the decreased expression of CaSR could contribute significantly to the high proliferative activity, even if VDR expression was taken into account. CONCLUSION: The decrease in CaSR expression is associated with the high proliferative activity of PT glands in secondary HPT, independently of the decreased VDR expression. These findings provide a new insight into the pathogenesis of PT hyperplasia, which is refractory to vitamin D therapy in patients with severe secondary HPT.

Association of polymorphic alleles of the calcium-sensing receptor gene with parathyroid hormone secretion in hemodialysis patients.

The present study was performed to investigate the association of calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) genotypes with parathyroid hormone (PTH) secretion in hemodialysis patients. Subjects were 122 Japanese hemodialysis patients, including 39 patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). The CaSR polymorphisms tested were codon 990 in intracellular domain (A/A, A/G, and G/G groups) as well as T to C base change of intron 4 (T/T, T/C, and C/C groups). Statistical analysis of these polymorphisms revealed that the serum PTH level was significantly higher in the A/A group than in the G/G group in the former. In addition, the serum PTH level was also significantly higher in patients displaying C allele, as compared with the T/T group in the latter. This association of two polymorphisms with the serum PTH level was observed only in non-DM patients. Although two polymorphisms affected the PTH level independently, patients who possessed both genotypes (AAC+) had a markedly high level of PTH not only in the non-DM group but also in the DM group. The present findings indicate the possibility of the prediction for the extensive progression of secondary hyperparathyroidism through analyzing the CaSR polymorphisms in chronic hemodialysis patients.

Effect of the linking position of a side chain in bis(quinolylmethyl)ethylenediamine as a DNA binding agent.

Two bisquinoline derivatives, N,N'-bis(2-quinolylmethyl)ethylenediamine (2-BQME) and N,N'-bis(8-quinolylmethyl)ethylenediamine (8-BQME) have been synthesized, and their ability to bind to duplex DNA was studied. 8-BQME bound to DNA more strongly than 2-BQME, judging from the extent of increase in the melting temperature of duplex DNA, the UV-vis spectral change, and ethidium displacement assay. These compounds exhibited apparent AT-specificity suggesting minor groove binding in addition to intercalation.

Unresectable advanced gastric cancer effectively treated by combined chemo-immunotherapy: a report of two cases.

We have experienced two cases of unresectable advanced gastric cancer effectively treated by chemo-immunotherapy. One case was of a 68-year-old male patient diagnosed as having inoperable advanced gastric cancer with liver and lung metastasis. This patient was treated by combined chemo-immunotherapy of MMC 10 mg/M, 5'-DFUR 800 mg/day and OK-432 5 KE/2W. At 6 months later, a computed tomography (CT) scan and upper gastrointestinal (GI) series revealed that the metastatic liver tumors and stomach lesion were remarkably decreased in size, and endoscopic biopsy confirmed no cancer cells in the stomach lesion. Moreover, the metastatic lung tumor had disappeared on chest X-ray. The other case was of a 68-year-old female patient with unresectable advanced gastric cancer treated by combined administration of MMC 10 mg/M, 5-FU 200 mg/day and OK-432 5 KE/2W. At 2 months after commencing the treatment, there was a reduction in the serum carcinoembryonal antigen (CEA) level. At 6 months later, the CEA had decreased to normal, the primary and metastatic sites had completely disappeared on CT, and endoscopic biopsy confirmed no cancer cells in the stomach lesion. This patient has survived to date for 5 years and 6 months after commencing the treatment. These results suggested that combined chemo-immunotherapy of MMC, antimetabolite, and OK-432 was an effective treatment for unresectable advanced gastric cancer.

Immunohistochemical study on the expression of cyclin D1 and E in gastric cancer.

Cyclin D1 and E have been found to be deregulated and overexpressed in various types of cancers. In order to study the cell cycle regulatory mechanisms in gastric cancer, we have analyzed the protein expression of cyclin D1 and cyclin E in 76 tumor specimens from patients with primary gastric cancer, using immunohistochemistry. Overexpression of cyclin D1 was observed in 38 cases (50.0%). Overexpression of cyclin E was observed in 40 cases (52.6%). There was no significant difference between the expression of cyclin D1 and any clinicopathological factor. Cyclin E overexpression was correlated with a high incidence of lymph node metastasis, a low incidence of T1, and with Stage I. There was no significant difference in survival curves between cyclin D1 (+) and cyclin D1 (-). The survival curves of cyclin E (-) were significantly higher than those of cyclin E (+). These results suggested that in gastric carcinoma, cyclin E overexpression was useful as a prognostic indicator, but cyclin D1 was not.

Two cases of cancer in the remnant stomach derived from gastritis cystica polyposa.

We have recently encountered two patients with early gastric cancer in the remnant stomach which resulted from gastritis cystica polyposa at the anastomosis site. The remnant stomach, which had been reconstructed with the Billroth II method, contained an elevated sessile lesion at the anastomosis site. One patient was a 73-year-old woman who had undergone gastrectomy for a gastric ulcer at 30 years earlier, cancer type I + IIa of the remnant stomach was diagnosed, and total remnant gastrectomy was performed. The other patient was a 59-year-old man who had undergone gastrectomy for a duodenal ulcer at 31 years earlier, cancer type I + IIa of the remnant stomach was diagnosed, and subtotal remnant gastrectomy was performed. Histological examination in each case showed that moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma had developed from gastritis cystica polyposa. These results suggested that this cancer has a close relationship with gastritis cystica polyposa.
