Medicolegal problems arising from AIDS and health care personnel with special reference to Spanish law.
The ethical and judicial problems that surround the risk of HIV occupational transmission among health care workers are considered. Problems concerning the continued employment of the health providers once they are infected are also taken into account. The relevant Spanish legislation is analysed.
