Salford Community Health Council carried out a survey to discover what consumers think of health centres. Sally Burningham has been reading its report 'Healthy Centres?' which indicates that people feel centres could offer more than they do although some seem not to make full use of what is available.

Sex... a question of rights.

The sexual needs of disabled people have been suppressed or ignored in the past even in residential homes which can be hot houses for the development or destruction of human relationships. Sally Burningham was at a recent conference organised by the Committee on Sexual and Personal Relationships for the Disabled which showed just how much the climate has changed in the past few years.
