[Model for introducing or revitalizing the final monograph].

The requirement set by the Curricular Guidelines for a Course Conclusion Work in the nursing area is an innovation for the majority of courses in Brazil. Only a few courses have introduced this type of study as a result of their forward-looking vision. This requirement has demanded an effort from the universities, to ensure that these studies do not only represent an academic exercise, but also an institutional quality indicator and a possible contribution to the solution of social problems. Our proposed model includes: defining lines of research, gathering researchers per by area of interest, organizing research groups and centers, defining the preferred types of studies, planning operational agendas, carrying out a follow-up on their introduction and encouraging their publication.

[Popular knowledge and health education in nursing training].

From the point of view of including the health reform in the pedagogical projects of nursing courses, in accordance with curriculum guidelines, it contextualises the formation of a nurse for health education and the importance of bringing practice and care together, as well as includes the results of research with nurses in seven towns in rural communities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is a qualitative survey with data collection by means of participatory observation, interviews, and document-based content analysis. These data were obtained in activities observed in the work of nurses in health education. It concludes that the work of nurses was full of educational actions, both collective and individual ones. On the other hand, undergraduate courses do not sufficiently prepare students to perform this role.

[Tutorial programs for nursing courses].

The implementation of political-pedagogical projects, encouraged by health and education policies, generated the need to incorporate in nursing curricula several programs to attend the interests and necessities of undergraduate courses. One of these is the Tutorial Program that aims at considering the student as the subject of the education and care. In this way, this study aimed at contributing to the evaluation of a tutorial model in order to fill in gaps found in the process of construction of political-pedagogical projects. Therefore, the article describes the idealized theoretical model with the purpose to include it in undergraduate nursing programs.
