An unusual case of localized pigmented villonodular synovitis of the ankle joint in a 3-year-old boy is described. The child was brought to the hospital because of abrupt onset of pain and joint effusion. A soft tissue mass eroding the talar dome was seen in roentgenograms. Exact diagnosis was established by excisional biopsy. Curettage of the lesion resulted in healing without recurrence at 10-year follow-up examination.
Adrenal hemangiomas are rare and seldom found ante mortem. We report a case of adrenal hemangioma that was discovered incidentally and removed surgically. The pertinent literature is reviewed.
Multiple meningioma is a rare condition which usually occurs in one compartment of the neuraxis. Multiple meningiomas in different neuraxial compartments are an even rarer condition with only a few cases reported in the literature. We describe a case of a 72-year-old woman who developed a parietal meningioma and 22 years later a spinal meningioma. Both tumours were successfully removed.

Two cases of viral appendicitis are presented. The morphologic changes are compatible with adenovirus infection. Both cases showed the common combination with ileal and ileocecal intussusception. The light microscopic changes are described.
