Isolated congenital contracture of the deltoid muscle in children is uncommon. There are no reports in the literature of such cases associated with anterior dislocations of the shoulder. Two young girls with deltoid contracture and associated dislocation of the shoulder are reported.
The importance of "double tourniquet" technique in repair of the quadriceps mechanism after total patellectomy in recent fractures of the patella is described and its advantages are discussed. The results following this method of repair in 17 total patellectomies have been studied and discussed.
Ten cases of aneurysmal bone cysts in various parts of the body are presented. Their features are analysed and the relevant literature is reviewed.
