Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
The authors describe a malignant tumor that is rarely encountered by the podiatric surgeon. Clinical presentation and treatment of choice are discussed along with a case report. The tendency for dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans to recur and to possibly metastasize makes accurate diagnosis, treatment, and careful follow-up essential.
