[Correlation between histological picture, tumor size and age in cancer of the uterine cervix].
Correlation of the histological structure and spreading of the tumour with the age of the patient in the cervix-cancer was studied at 3357 patients. Most of the cases occurred in the 5th decade of the life, independently of the histological type of the cancer. Adenocarcinomas were seen considerably often in elderly ages. Cervix cancer of the III. and IV. stage were more frequent in elderly ages as well. In advanced stages the number of cases of carcinoma planocellulare increased, and the number of anaplastic and adenocarcinomas decreased.
