A randomized, double-blind trial comparing a pulse of 1000 with 250 mg methylprednisolone in rheumatoid arthritis.
We compared, in a double blind, randomized, 3-center study, a pulse of 1000 mg methylprednisolone with a pulse of 250 mg methylprednisolone, in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis. Improvement of patients was similar in both groups and lasted up to 3 weeks. Side effects were minor.
Controlled clinical trial with Fentiazac cream in sport microtraumatology.
Fentiazac 5% cream was applied topically on limited articular and extra-articular inflammatory lesions in the course of a double-blind clinical trial versus placebo. The drug proved to be satisfactorily tolerated and also therapeutically effective since it changed significantly (p less than 0.05--less than 0.01) the spontaneous course of the microtraumatic pathologic pattern producing an early attenuation and resolution of the painful and functional symptomatic pattern.

[Role of x-ray computed tomography in infections of soft tissue].
The authors relate their own experience in 64 cases of soft tissue infection investigated by computed tomography: 25 lesions only located in soft tissue of the extremities and 39 associated with bone and/or joint lesions, including the spine. The describe CT findings of abscesses, "solid" infections and cellulitis. Advantages and bounds of the CT in this field are defined.
