A Turbo Pascal program for eye-hand coordination testing using standard PC XT/AT mouse is presented. The contour segments of three simple figures (square, circle and triangle) are chosen as tracing trajectories. Tracing performance expressed in root mean squared (RMS) and modulus mean error (MME) measures are calculated and used, together with tracing time for evaluation of eye hand coordination ability.
One dimensional manual tracking was investigated in relation to actual heart rate and phase of cardiac cycle. Higher heart rate was combined with increased tracking error incidence and decreased successful tracking time (light spot inside target). Error incidence was time-locked with respect to the phase of cardiac cycle.

Double light pulse resolution required longer inter-pulse time intervals of short duration of the pulse. The threshold of double pulse discrimination was not contingent upon the actual phase of cardiac or respiratory cycle.

The problem of defining EEG alpha activity, and of detecting and measuring it, is outlined. Some advantages of a threshold method are presented and compared with an amplitude-integration method. Characteristics of percent-time scoring, based upon observable alpha spindles in the waking EEG, are discussed. A probability distribution of percent-time alpha as a function of detection threshold is derived and compared with empirical data.

A program system is described which is suitable for processing behavioral and psychophysiological data characterized by alternation of two states (the transition between which is instantaneous). It is adapted for a LINC D.E.C. computer and is composed of a control program and several system programs computing different statistics and performing necessary input and output operations with the data.
