Report on a pneumokoniosis caused by organic dust in a 66-year-old man. The case in question was a farmer's lung. Discussion of the possible causes, clinical and cellular findings as well as of the diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
Report on an 80-year-old male with a sacculated, hazelnutsized, intrapulmonary arrosion aneurysm of the right pulmonary artery in the environment of an anthracotically indurated lymphatic node. Communication of the sacculation with the right bronchus of the lower lobe as well as with the oesophagus in final rupture of the aneurysm and fatal haemorrhage. Discussion of etiology and pathogenesis, differential diagnosis, diagnostics and therapy of aneurysms of the pulmonary artery.
Report on a 69-year-old male with spontaneous atraumatic rupture of the oesophagus (Boerhaave's syndrome) in clinically mentioned chronic abuse of alcohol and massive vomiting which preceded the event. Discussion of causes, differential diagnosis, therapy as well as of forensic aspects of this syndrome.
Case report about a carcinoma of the appendix, recognized by obduction of an 58-years old man. Discussion of rarity, difficult clinical diagnostic, histological classification, metastasis and problems of differential diagnosis and therapy.
Intrathecal methotrexate-overdosage in the meningosis therapy leads to CNS damages dependent on dose. It was given a own case report and a literature review with clinical symptoms and the therapy in this complication. Neuropathologic findings included demyelinisation und necrosis of the white matter.
