Managing your own time effectively is perhaps one of the most challenging responsibilities a nurse manager faces. This article describes several strategies to assist in time management for busy nurse managers.
Nurse managers should take the time to assess their managerial styles so they may function successfully in today's fast-paced health care environment. Seven common managerial styles, as described by Ninomiya (1988), are presented here.
