[Generalized tuberculosis].
Among all types, generalized tuberculosis has become recently a rather common disease. During 10 years, twenty two patients with tuberculous process generalization have been identified. Of them 12 had hematogenous tuberculosis, 7 had infiltrative tuberculosis, 2 had fibrocavernous tuberculosis, and 1 had abdominal tuberculosis. Despite the treatment performed, 11 of 22 patients died. Among all treatments, surgical interventions play a significant role.
