Clinical audit activity. Prescribing for common conditions--depression.
Australian Family Physician is proud to provide this clinical audit activity. This is based on material drawn from Dr Andrea Mant's forthcoming book 'Thinking about Prescribing: A Handbook for the Quality Use of Medicines', due for publication in October of this year. General practice prescribing is an area of intense interest to the profession, the community and the government. It is also an extremely dynamic area with frequent changes in recommended treatment regimens. This activity is designed to encourage each practitioner to focus on individual prescribing habits and to reflect on these in the light of new developments and recommendations.
