[Surgical procedure in stomach and duodenal diseases associated with calculous cholecystitis].

Nineteen cases when the patients had different combinations of gastric disease with calculous cholecystitis are described. All the patients were subjected to simultaneous operations. No complications were noted. A conclusion is made that the simultaneous operation is the most rational method in such a combination of diseases. The authors believe that calculous cholecystitis can be responsible for postoperative complications after any operation.

[Macroergic phosphate metabolism of the erythrocytes in the early postoperative period].

125 cases of hernia, cholelithiasis, peptic and gastric ulcer, carcinoma of the stomach of stages III and IV were examined before operation and in the postoperative period. The peculiarity of the studied indices of energy metabolism was established in each group of patients. The authors believe, that the difinition of ATP level and of the erythrocytes energy charge can be used as one of criteria of patients' condition and of medicamental correction of metabolism.
