New biographical facts are submitted concerning Anastasia Golovina, the first female doctor among the Bessarabia Bulgarians. The data, made available from the Soviet and Bulgarian archives, makes reference to the life and studies of Golovina in Kishinev, Zürich and Paris, her contacts with the progressive, revolutionary circles in Russia and Bulgaria in the middle of the seventies of the 19th century.
