[Cancer of the ovary and pregnancy. Apropos of 4 cases].

The value and the limitations of echo scans and extemporaneous examination in four cases are reported. Any adnexial organic tumour should be treated in the knowledge that it could be a cancer of the ovary. This is the only possible approach for avoiding contamination during surgery insufficient exoresis and the necessity of further intervention.

[Anterior sacculation of the pregnant uterus persisting until the 34th week].

The authors report a case of retroversion of the uterus with anterior sacculation that carried on to the 34th week of pregnancy without any functional troubles. Caesarean section made it possible to deliver a child weighing 1910 g. There were no adhesions found behind the uterus to fix it in retroversion. This clinical case has given the authors a chance to go through the principal elements in this case that evolved in such an unusual manner.

[Problems posed by the death of one fetus in a twin pregnancy].

Much recent works has highlighted the problems posed by the death of one fetus in utero during multiple pregnancy. This is a rare but serious accident which exposes the mother and the surviving fetus to the transfer of placentary and fetal thromboplastins or to the direct embolization of necrosed fragments of the placenta. Only fetal death occurring during the second and third terms of pregnancy is considered.
