[Experimental amyloidosis in miniature swine].
An amyloidosis was induced in dwarf pigs by intramuscular injections of casein sodium. Six months' administration of the preparation (3 times a week) in a dosis of 0.5 grammes per injection was the most effective. Histologically amyloid deposits were found in almost all the internal organs, particularly in the mucous membranes of the digestive and the respiratory tracts. The report is documented with 9 illustrations.
