Performance payback. Survey shows most execs must hit bonus targets to maintain total pay.
More than ever, hospital executives are being judged, and paid, based on performance, a hurdle most of them are making, according to a compensation survey by Hewitt Associates. Meanwhile, system managers, who are more experienced with being paid this way, are having a harder time meeting performance benchmarks. The survey includes 241 healthcare organization respondents.
