[An unusual case of uterine leiomyoma: exophylic grapelike development in the pelvic peritoneum (author's transl)].
A 34 years old woman had a hysterectomy for persistent menorrhagias. The uterine vault was covered by an exophytic grape-like tumor measuring 10 cm in length, formed by little red nodules with focal adjacent lesions. This tumor is cytologically benign and of leiomyomatous nature on the ultrastructural study. The questions concerning diagnosis and prognosis of this case are discussed.
