[Early diagnosis of relapses of cervical and endometrial carcinomas (author's transl)].

A systematic screening-programme for tumor recurrence diagnosis was carried out in 773 patients with cervical or endometrial carcinomas. In comparison with two other patient groups in this patients an earlier diagnosis of tumor recurrences was possible and more relapses were detected in the subclinically symptomless phase. Considering the primary therapy a practicable scheme for diagnosis is proposed.

[Budd-Chiari syndrome following intake of oral contraceptives (author's transl)].

Described in this paper are three cases of Budd-Chiari syndrome in young women who had taken oral contraceptives. Not more than 30 cases maximum so far have been reported in international literature, in the context of Budd-Chiari syndrome related to oral contraceptives. However, oral contraceptives have been increasingly considered to cause to disease, over the past ten years.

[Importance of laparoscopy to postoperative treatment of ovarian carcinoma (author's transl)].

Indications in favour of peritoneoscopy in postoperative after-treatment of ovarian carcinomas are proposed on the basis of the authors' own experience. Postoperative laparoscopy in combination with peritoneal cytology and histology appears to be justified in support of differentiated postoperative therapy, since it enables modification of empirical and rigid decions for high-continuity after-treatment of ovarian carcinomas.

[Histological-lymphographic findings in stage I A cervix cancer].

In 150 patients suffering from carcinoma cervicis uteri stage I A preoperative lymphographias and in 99 patients clinical and lymphographical follow-up controls were carried out. The histological proved metastases of the lymphonodes were less than 1%. Indications for preoperative lymphographias only are to be seen in carcinoma cervicis uteri stage I A2 for which histological criteria are presented.

[Use of viscous dye solutions for the vital staining of lymphnodes].

Animal-experimental and clinical results after applications of viscous solution with Fluorescein-Sodium and Erythrosin for representation of lympho-nodes and lymphatic ducts were published. In the frame of lymphography this application in form of a second infusion becomes possible preoperatively as well as intraoperatively. The lymphonodi inguinale, iliaci and lumbales represented even by lymphography were contrasty stained by this method over limited period.

[Treatment of functional sterility using Clostylbegyt].

Report of 39 patients suffering from functional sterility, having been treated with Clostylbegyt. Under analysis were the age of the patients, complications during therapy, time of ovulation and the effect of the drug on several ovarian caused difficulties of conception. Controlling examinations as well as the pregnancies obtained and their progress were discussed.

[1st lymphogram and lymphographic course monitoring in the surgical management of cervix carcinoma].

The results of pre-lymphographic examinations and the post-operative control of 503 patients with cervix-cancers will be evaluated. In order to justify the lymphographic results, the histological results of 353 cases of examined patients could be analysed. Agreement between lymphographic and histological results amount to 75%. As a result of this, the individualized therapy of cervix cancers will be discussed. Thereby, special significance is given to the question of percutane radio-therapy. Only by micro-cancers with normal lymphogram, the lymphadenectomy will be desisted. Otherwise, the modified hysterectomy with vaginal cuff and bilateral lympadenectomy will be carried out. In 5% of the examined patients, primarily lumbar metastasis by operable cases could be diagnosed. New lymphnode metastasis appeared in 5% of the operated patients. Important for the individualized therapy is an exact praetherapeutic, especially histological diagnosis through conisation as well as a subtle histological examination of operated material including the exstirpated lymph-node.
