[Repair by glueing under arthroscopic control of ruptures of the anterior cruciate ligament. Preliminary study of 10 cases controlled by magnetic resonance imaging].
The authors report the results of ten surgical repairs of the anterior cruciate ligament (LCA) by glueing up under arthroscopic control. The functional results were good in 8 cases, with total recovery and full return to sport activities at a level similar to that before the accident. These cases were followed up by magnetic resonance imaging carried out between 2 and 6 months after surgery. This has shown 8 unruptured ligaments but with different signals. No complications were observed and two patients had gone secondary ligamentoplasty due to the failure of the primary repair.
