It is presented a case of fibromatous gingival idiopathic hyperplasy of rare imponence. While describing the clinic characteristic the morphology of the lesion, the provoked functional troubles and the therapeutic program are evidenced. It is also confirmed its pathologic characteristic on hereditary base.
On the basis of 3 cases of mouth opening reduction, the Authors assess the etiopathogenic theories compared with the anamnestic and radiographical data. Sometimes only surgical procedures can clarify symptoms and clinical data.
The results of functional treatment of condylar fractures in children are reported. Ten patients were subjected to a radiographic study. Long-term follow-up shows a very good osseus remodelling of fractured condyles.
Fifty-five cases of condyle fracture have been followed up and the value of non-surgical reduction treatment of fractures assessed with respect to recent proposals to treat the same conditions surgically.
