Interpreting lab values affected by kidney function.
Renal function and fluid and electrolyte balance go hand in hand. Many health conditions affect renal function so it is important that nurses understand this relationship. Failure to do so might result in missing important signs and symptoms that can provide the key to the diagnosis and treatment of many patients.
