The PRO: essential partner in health care quality improvement.

The health care profession has undergone radical changes and shifts that no one associated with the medical field in New Jersey would have predicted only a decade ago. As cost containment, managed care, mergers, and downsizing dominate New Jersey's health care agenda, the concept of quality-how to define it, how to measure it, and how to improve it-often takes a back seat to these issues.
