Statistical thinking applied to everyday data.
Despite all the talk about "improvement" and "statistical thinking," our everyday work environments are horribly contaminated with poor statistical practice (even if it is not formally called "statistics"). The statistical methods our work requires are quite simple ... but initially quite counter-intuitive. Once grasped, however, they can provide a deeper understanding that will ensure better analysis, communication and decision-making.
