The genome sequence of the Tufted Button, Acleris cristana (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775).

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Acleris cristana (the Tufted Button; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The genome sequence is 562.6 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.1 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,598 protein coding genes.

The genome sequence of the Holly Tortrix, Rhopobota naevana (Hubner, 1817) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae).

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Rhopobota naevana (Holly Tortrix; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 581.80 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.48%) is scaffolded into 28 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.5 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.

The genome sequence of the Treble Lines, Charanyca trigrammica (Hufnagel, 1766) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae).

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Charanyca trigrammica (Treble Lines; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 546.43 megabases and 546.58 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.97%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.44 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.

The genome sequence of the Yellow-barred Brindle, Acasis viretata (Hübner, 1799) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae).

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Acasis viretata (Yellow-barred Brindle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 297.68 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.98%) is scaffolded into 17 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.01 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.

The genome sequence of the solitary wasp, Cerceris ruficornis (Fabricius, 1793).

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of Cerceris ruficornis (solitary wasp; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Crabronidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 566.08 megabases, of which 65.35% is scaffolded into 14 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 18.07 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 11,093 protein-coding genes.

The genome sequence of the Alder Moth, Acronicta alni (Linnaeus, 1767).

We present a genome assembly from a male Acronicta alni (Alder Moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 470.37 megabases and 472.86 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.95%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.38 kilobases in length.

The genome sequence of the Coxcomb Prominent, Ptilodon capucinus (Linnaeus, 1758).

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Ptilodon capucinus (the Coxcomb Prominent; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Notodontidae). The genome sequence is 348.7 megabases in span. The assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.38 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 16,968 protein coding genes.
