[Application of cell technologies to tissue defect closure in oncology].

In vivo and in vitro experiments on the application of cell technologies to tissue defect closure were conducted; autologic mesenchymal stem cells on 3-demensional matrices were used. The authors analyze the results of the application of bioengineering tissue equivalents for the closure of soft tissue and upper airway defects after extensive resections performed in 52 oncological patients. Tissue equivalents with stem cells provide engraftment and long-term graft functioning; they also modify wound surface, thus stimulating wound epithelization. In this study the application of tissue equivalents led to wound healing and functional recovery in 87% of patients.

[The use of nutritional antioxidants for the correction of metabolic disorders of cardiovascular patients].

The effectiveness of complex dietary therapy, comprising the use of nutritional antioxidants, for patients with degree I-II essential hypertension and CHD has been evaluated. It is found that the including of soy isoflavones and selenium into the nutrition had a positive effect on the clinical presentation of disease, lipid metabolism, organism antioxidant status, indices of blood coagulation and anticoagulation systems.

[Intermittent forced ventilation of the lungs with series "PO" IVL apparatus].

The authors suppose that the intermittent ventilation (IMV) may be provided by the connection of an additional respiratory appliance made on the basis of a standard narcosis attachment of "Polynarcon" type with a respirator "PO" and the patient. A specific feature of this modified respiratory appliance is the bellows which fulfiles the function of a reserved capacity for a breath and a damper when in the smoothed out (hung up) state. The intubation tube is fastened to the T-joint adapter of the narcosis attachment (the scheme is shown), the hose being detached from the expiration valve and connected with the respirator T-joint adapter (to the place of the intubation tube). On the termination of the forced breath the patient can (if he has enough force to open the expiration valve) fulfill a self-dependent breath from the additional respiration appliance (the expiration is fulfilled into the respirator as during the forced breath). A method of realization of IMV in the "PO" type respirators which have been produced in lots by the "Krasnogvardeets" firm since 2000-2002 is described.

Skin repair by transplantation of cultured keratinocytes.

Improvement of methods for culturing skin cells stimulates their wide application in the treatment of a variety of skin injuries. A method for restoration of the skin with cultured epithelium and cultured epithelium in combination with a derma analog (collagen gel with fibroblasts) was developed. Possible mechanisms for skin repair after transplantation of cultured allogenic skin transplants were analyzed.

[Clinical use of flavonoid enriched biologically active food supplements in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis in combination with chronic cholecystitis or bile ducts dyskinesia].

60 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis and secretory insufficiency allied with chelicobacterial infection in combination with chronic unlithic cholecystitis or diskinesia of choledoch ways were explored with a view to study the efficiency of dietary cure including biologically active food supplements--flavonoids source. Fortification of the patients food intake with flavonoids-containing biologically active food supplements benefits mucous membrane of gastroduodenal zone that is evidenced in decrease of activity of pyloric chelicobacteriosis and resolvent and reparative effect, it also contributes to normalization of hepatobiliaric system condition and antioxidant status.

[Efficiency of the vegetative tea in diet therapy for patients with obesity associated with diabetes mellitus type 2].

The dynamic of glycemia, insulin, C-peptide, glycosylated hemoglobin, fructosamine, thyroid hormones, parameters of serum lipids, lipid peroxidation and system of antioxidant defense in 81 hospital patients and out-patients with obesity associated with diabetes mellitus type II was studied of influence of hypocaloric diet 9. Universal normalizing influence of hypocaloric diet 9 with vegetation tea was discovered on parameters of carbohydrate, lipid and oxidative metabolism and of patients clinical state of pateni. The additional criteria of evaluation of efficacy of food dietary supplements in complex treatment of patients with obesity associated with diabetes mellitus type II was offered on basis of study of influence vegetation tea on mechanisms of metabolic disorders in these patients.

[Up-to-date methods of cell therapy in treatment of burns].

Complex of methods for repair of wounded and burned skin with transplantation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts grown in vitro is proposed. Five different tissue constructions may be used. Original method of skin recovery based on use of alive equivalent of skin is developed. Results of its clinical application are presented. It is concluded that cell constructions may be used in combined treatment of wounds and burns.

[Soybean proteins in correction of coronary risk factors in patients with cardiovascular diseases].

At 95 patients with coronary artery disease and high blood pressure studied influence of a diet with low lipid by a directedness including yields of processing soy, on dynamics(changes) of clinical symptoms, indexes lipid of the status and coronary risk factors. The application of a diet, 50% of fiber in which was replaced on soy protein isolate, promoted positive dynamics(changes) of clinical manifestations of disease on a hum noise of improving of indexes lipid of a spectrum and coronary risk factors. The research has shown, that the use in the treat-preventive purposes soy protein isolate is rather perspective.

[Food dietary supplement efficacy in complex therapy of patients with type 2 diabetes with obesity].

The dynamic of glycemia, insulin, C peptide, glycosylated hemoglobin, fructosamine, parameters of serum lipids, lipid peroxidation and system of antioxidant defense in 28 patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 associated with obesity was studied of influence of hypoglycemic hypocaloric diet. Besides favorable influence to a clinical picture of the disease universal normalizing influence of hypoglycemic hypocaloric diet with food dietary supplement "Cogent DB+" on parameters of carbohydrate, lipid and oxidative metabolism. The scheme of investigation of efficacy of food dietary supplements in complex treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 associated with obesity was offered on basis of study of influence "Cogent DB+" on mechanisms of metabolic disorders in these patients.
