Interaction of neuromediator and immunoglobulin receptors of mice B-lymphocytes.

The effect of rabbit antiserum to mice globulins on the M-cholinergic receptors (M-ChR) expression of spleen B-lymphocytes of CBA and Balb/c mice has been studied. Anti-globulin antiserum depending on its concentration decreased M-Chr expression on B-lymphocytes intact animals both species. The anti-globulin serum effect appeared to be maximal at 37 degrees C and minimal at 4 degrees C. The date obtained suggests a possible interaction between the immunoglobulin (antigen binding) and the neuromediator receptors of B-lymphocytes which may appear to be one of the mechanisms of interrelationship of the nervous and immune system at the cellular level.

M-cholinergic receptors in mice B-lymphocytes in the process of immune response.

With the help of the radioactive blocker of M-cholinergic receptors 3H-Quinuclidinil benzylate their quantity was determined on B-lymphocytes of CBA mice spleen. On the 3rd and 4th day after immunization with ovalbumin the number of M-cholinergic receptors became somewhat higher. The specific antigen decreased the expression of M-cholinergic receptors on B-lymphocytes most of all on the 4th day after immunization, and did not have any effect on this indicator in control animals. This testifies to the possibility of steric interaction between the antigen binding immunoglobulin and M-cholinergic receptors on B-lymphocytes during the immune reaction.

On the interrelations of immune and mediator receptors of mice lymphocytes.

It was shown that the blockade of M-cholinereceptors, of B-lymphocytes in the spleen of mice of the BALB/c line immune to sheep erythrocytes, by parasympatholytics 3H-Quinuclidinyl benzilate, etc., markedly inhibits the rosette-formation with the specific antigen. The blockade of M-cholinereceptors of B-lymphocytes in the mice spleen of the given line by the anticholinereceptor rabbit serum (with removed Forsmann antibodies) induces a similar result. The specific antigen fixation on B-lymphocytes of mice immunized by egg albumin is suppressed by preliminary blockade of M-cholinereceptors by the above mentioned parasympatholytics. The number of free cholinereceptors on the surface of B-lymphocytes of mice spleen immunized with egg albumin, was reduced after the specific antigen was joined. The blockade of beta-adrenoreceptors of mice spleen evokes a similar effect but in a lesser degree. The problem of interrelation of immune and mediator lymphocyte receptors is discussed in relation with the mechanisms of nervous regulation of immune and allergic reactions.
